Tribal Mountain Trade, London's most unique direct
import store, has been in operation since 1981. Les and
Candy travel Indonesia, Thailand and Mexico searching
out handmade folk art and clothing for the store. We buy
direct from the artisans, as do our outside suppliers,
dealing in a fair and ethical manner.

You will find furnishings and decor items, sculptures,
natural fiber clothing, instruments, sterling silver
jewelry, incense and essential oils, handmade paper
products, beads, wooden games and more.

Awaken your senses, touch, smell, see, hear and
experience Tribal Mountain Trade. Shop where Worlds
and Cultures meet.

Enjoy and thank you for visiting.

A special thanks to Masonville Place.  We
had a wonderful time working in the mall
over the Holiday Season.  During our stay,
we made many wonderful new friends and
became reacquainted with old ones.
Believe me when I say the pleasure was all
ours.

I hope that you will be able to find the time
to come to Richmond Row and visit our
permanent store at 575 Richmond Street.
Don't be shy, come in and say hi! ! !  You'll
brighten up our day.
I am sure that you are all aware of what a hard year 2009 was for all concerned.  The trying
times we have had makes us all the more appreciative of your continued support.  Our goal
has always been to bring new and inspiring folk art and artifacts from other cultures for you
to enjoy right here in London, Ontario.  We all live in One World.  That world is comprised
of many different cultures and beliefs.  By providing you with a window into other cultures,
we hope to bring us all closer together through knowledge and understanding.  In the end,
we are not so different.

Our goals for 2010 are not any different.  I feel it is a worthwhile cause and I love what we
do.  We are however,  striving to work even harder to earn your continued respect and
support.  We are working hard on our research to bring you a clearer picture of what our
artifacts represent both spiritually and in day to day life.  We plan on making this
information available to you in store, through continued email and on our facebook page.
Please bring us your thoughts and concerns.  They will serve to aid in the direction of our
pursuit.
