The History of the Mountain
Opened in 1981, Tribal Mountain was London, Ontario's most unique direct import store.  Owners and founders, Les and Candy, traveled to Indonesia, Thailand and Mexico in search of handmade folk art, clothing, furniture and jewellery - purchased directly from the artisan families themselves.  We pride ourselves on fair and ethical business transactions both home and abroad.  For more than 30 years Candy and Les personally worked with these families to help them  earn a sustainable living while providing Londoners with unique products to beautify their lives. A stroll through the store had you finding home furnishings and decor, sculptures, natural fibre clothing, instruments, sterling silver and gemstone jewelry, organic bone, horn and wood jewellery, incense and essential oils, ceramics and more.
